Wharf is one of Ambergris Caye's most spacious and

apartment suites, no longer do you have to visit
with your new found friends, neighbors or family
on the porch; now you can entertain or play cards,
etc. in your own living room! . . . or seated around
your own "dining table" in these large
deluxe suites!!!
It is located "right on the beach" at
Woody's Wharf, approximately a half-a-mile south
of San Pedro Town, a quaint little fishing village
situated less than a mile from the world's second
largest living reef teeming with sea life.
Corona del Mar Hotel is just far enough from the
town to insure you that little extra privacy and
quiet from the usual "hustle and bustle",
yet close enough for a leisurely stroll down the
beach for shopping purposes, libations, music or
dancing "when you want it".
Dive boats and glass bottom boats (for snorkeling
etc.) will pick you up at our dock.
One day excursions can be arranged by the hotel
for your convenience, to the Mayan ruins, Xunantunich
& Lamanai; also to the Mountain Pine Ridge,
Rio Frio Caves, Hidden Valley Falls, etc. (Educational
and FAbulous Fun!!!)
The flats and deep sea fishing are an angler's
delight!
The Belizeans... a people with Mayan, British,
Mexican and Caribbean cultural heritage, are warm
and hospitable. The government is a stable democracy
with a parliamentary system very similar to that
of Great Britain. Belize became an independent
country in September 1981. It was previously known
as "British Honduras". Its laws are
very similar to those of the U.S.A. as both are
derivatives of the British "Common Law",
so relax and enjoy your stay.
